Long-term rentals can be few and far between. Generally, landlords will require first, last, and security meaning the first month's rent, last month's rent and the security deposit is due to upon signing your lease. The security deposit is the same amount as one month's rent. Here's an example. Let's say rent is $1,000.00 a month. A total of $3,000.00 is needed to move in. Leases can range from month to month to 5 years. Some rentals are completely furnished, partially furnished, or not furnished. You can expect to find a refrigerator, stove, and microwave in the units/house.
